Wheels in Motion All Inclusive Skate Clinics 2024: Empowering Abilities for All

Kenner, Louisiana – The “Wheels in Motion” program, in partnership with several esteemed organizations are thrilled to unveil its latest endeavor: the All Inclusive Skate Clinics 2024. These clinics are specifically tailored for individuals with physical disabilities, aiming to provide them with unparalleled access, education, and resources for adaptive sports, focusing on both Skateboarding and Wheelchair Skate (WCMX).

Overview: The All Inclusive Skate Clinics 2024 are designed to empower participants through adaptive sports, particularly emphasizing WCMX and skateboarding. This pioneering program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to learn wheelchair control and mastery, while also presenting the chance to earn an invitation to the esteemed World Wheelchair Motocross Championships.

Organizations Involved: The program boasts collaboration with a multitude of esteemed partners including the City of Kenner Parks & Recreation Department, S.M.C.L. Foundation & Associates,  Pyramid Community Parent Resource Center, World WCMX, Action Park Alliance, TNT 360 Mobility, CrossFit Nola and Move United.

Details:

• The clinics are free for participants of all ages and abilities.
• Attendance is limited to 30 individuals per session.
• Location: Wentwood Playground Skatepark, 200 W Loyola Dr, Kenner, LA 70065.
