The 43rd Annual National Veteran Wheelchair Games in New Orleans showcased the resilience, determination, and camaraderie of veteran athletes from across the country. Co-presented by the VA and the Paralyzed Veterans of America the event brought together hundreds of athletes, volunteers, and supporters.
Featuring sports like basketball, football, softball, powerlifting, swimming, among others the games allowed veterans with varying levels of mobility to compete and showcase their skills. The atmosphere was filled with energy as athletes supported each other, embodying true sportsmanship.

Beyond competition, the games provided a platform for veterans to share their stories and connect, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual respect. Educational sessions, clinics, and social activities enriched the experience.
