Insights from the Move United Education Conference

We are thrilled to share that our organization had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Move United Education Conference held at Abilities 360 in Phoenix, Arizona! We were able to send a couple of our esteemed board members to this  event, where they immersed themselves in the dynamic world of adaptive sports and recreation activities.

The conference served as a hub of innovation, bringing together passionate individuals and organizations from across the United States to exchange invaluable insights and experiences. Our representatives had the privilege of gaining firsthand knowledge about the latest teaching methodologies, innovative programs, and cutting-edge tools designed to enhance the inclusivity and accessibility of sports for individuals with disabilities.

It was truly an amazing experience for our team to witness the dedication and commitment of professionals working tirelessly to break down barriers and empower athletes of all abilities. From adaptive fencing to adaptive mountain biking, the conference showcased a diverse array of adaptive sports, highlighting the transformative impact they have on the lives of participants.

As we return home to New Orleans, we are inspired and energized to integrate these newfound insights and resources into our own initiatives. By leveraging the knowledge gained at the Move United Education Conference, we are more equipped than ever to advance our mission of promoting inclusivity, empowerment, and joy through adaptive sports and recreation.
